St. Vincent's Special Events Commission invites all parishioners to join DePaul University's Vincentian Service Day. St. Vincent's parishioners will participate as a group that will work and celebrate together on Saturday, May 2nd.

We will be working in Evanston to collect and unload donated books, then sort and pack them for use in the Open Books warehouse, which supports community programs at the Oakton and Kingsley Elementary Schools.

DePaul's Vincentian Service Day is a unique experience where students, staff, faculty, alumni and community partners come together to serve with our community partners across Chicago. Volunteers get to have a great time, enjoy a celebration picnic as a community, receive a free t-shirt and make a difference, all in one day.

Transportation, a light breakfast, snacks and lunch are all provided.
