Linens Volunteers Needed!
Do You Own a Washing Machine?
Do you have extra Oxi-Clean you are aching to use?
The parish could really use your help!

We are in need of volunteers to help periodically launder the linens used during Mass. It only takes a couple of hours, and we’ll teach you all the tricks of the trade.

If you are interested, you’re welcome to try it once before deciding whether to commit to helping longer-term.

Please email Cate Zerega at czerega@depaul.edu or call her at the Parish Office.
And many thanks to the wonderful parishioners who are already helping with this important work!!

Seton Food Pantry
The Food Pantry provides individuals and households in our community with needed groceries once a week, every week of the year. Volunteers are needed to help sort, assemble and distribute these groceries. If interested, please see the Seton Food Pantry page for more details.

Seton Sandwich Kitchen
The Sandwich Kitchen serves the homeless a morning meal throughout the week, every week of the year. Many volunteers are needed to help serve these meals, and this is a great way to get involved in one of the parish’s outreach programs on a weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly basis. If interested, please see the Seton Sandwich Kitchen page for more details.

Little Sisters of the Poor
Join the Respect Life Commission every Wednesday as we help the Little Sisters of the Poor serve dinner at St. Mary's Home, located just a few blocks from St. Vincent's. If interested, please see the Respect Life Ministry page for more details.

SPRED
Have you ever wanted to get more out of your faith journey? Then consider learning more about SPRED. We are a small faith-sharing community who help children with developmental disabilities to grow in their spirituality. For more information, please visit the SPRED at St. Vincent's page.

Ministry of Care
The Ministry of Care program ensures that people who are unable to attend church are visited by pastoral staff who can serve their religious needs, including receiving the Holy Eucharist if desired. People often cannot attend church:
  • Who may have a chronic illness
  • Who are simply sick and unable to get out
  • Who may have recently had surgery or are hospitalized
  • Who may be the actual care giver and unable to leave their loved one
Sometimes it is through the experience of receiving the Body and Blood of Christ that a person opens up and begins to heal.

We need your help to determine who these individuals are so that we can help minister to their needs. If you know of anyone who may need or want to be visited by this program, please call the Parish Center.

Clothing Donations
Due to space limitations we can no longer accept clothing donations, but the St. Vincent de Paul Center (2145 N. Halsted) will gladly accept any donated items.
