Please consider signing up to be a Eucharistic Minister, Lector, Usher or Greeter for the holidays.
If you are planning on attending any Christmas Week Mass, please feel free to sign up for one of these ministries and take your celebration to a deeper level. Sign-up sheets are available in the Sacristy and in the Parish Center.
Ushers & Greeters are especially helpful during the Christmas week as they welcome our visitors, many of whom do not attend mass regularly every Sunday.
Since Christmas is a holiday that brings many of us home to our parish,
St. Vincent’s would like to offer a warm welcome to those who join us
for our beautiful Christmas masses and liturgies.
Sacristans assist with the Mass service in the preperation of both the altar, and the bread and wine. Please see the Sacristans page for more details.
Lectors read selected Scripture passages during the Mass service. Please see the Lectors page for more details.
Ushers conduct the collection and the offertory procession at the Mass service. Please see the Ushers page for more details.
Greeters welcome parishioners and hand out copies of the weekly bulletin before the Mass begins. This is perhaps the easiest way to get involved with the liturgical ministries. Please see the Greeters page for more details.
Music Minstry provides music for the Mass services and leads the congregation in song.
