Ministry Training
Our parish is in need of more Eucharistic Ministers, Sacristans, and Ushers/Greeters, and the Worship Commission is asking you to consider being trained in one of these ministries. If you have considered becoming a minister, individual training can be arraigned. If you have any questions or would like to schedule a training session, please contact Genevieve at (773) 610-6473.

Mission
The Worship Commission of St. Vincent de Paul Parish serves the parishioners, pastor, staff, and General Council by providing an inviting, pleasing environment, enhancing the liturgy, and encouraging, organizing, and educating ministers.

Vision
We want to be a prayerful, passionate, collaborative, inspiring, creative team that fosters the full, conscious, active participation of the faithful through well-planned, meaningful liturgy.

Activities

• Training and coordinating liturgical ministers for Masses:
  • Eucharistic Ministers
  • Lectors
  • Ushers / Greeters
  • Choir members and musicians
• Coordinating special celebrations, such as those in Advent, Christmas, Lent, Holy Week, and Easter and organizing the parish Reconciliation Services in Advent and Lent.
• Acquiring and distributing printed material to answer questions about Lent, Advent, etc.
