Catholic Charities is teaming up again with the Bank of America Chicago Marathon and we need your help! Our goal is to recruit 100 runners by race day.

Registration for the Chicago Marathon opens Wednesday, Feb. 1st and is expected to sell out quickly. Last year's race sold out in a matter of weeks. Please be sure to contact us as soon as possible to secure your space.

Saint Vincent’s Parish, like every parish in the Archdiocese of Chicago, is preparing for this year’s Annual Catholic Appeal.
The goal for last year’s appeal for Saint Vincent’s was $28,350. We actually exceeded our goal by $6,824! This excess has been returned to the parish, which is really wonderful for us.
Thank you to all who have responded to the mailing from Cardinal George. If you received the mailing and have not responded, please take advantage of this time to do so.
This year, the theme of the Appeal is: “Be Imitators of Christ.” We are all challenged to try to live our lives using the life of Christ as an example.
As we contemplate His gifts to us, we should also reflect on our gratitude for these gifts.
Your financial support for the work our parish, of our Archdiocese and of the Church
throughout the world is, in fact, one way to express this gratitude.
Please give generously to the 2012 Annual Catholic Appeal.
Saint Vincent’s parishioners are invited to consider our neighboring parish school, St. Josaphat, for their children’s education. You can attend one of the upcoming group tours for those interested in learning more about St. Josaphat.
Please email the Admissions Office at admissions@stjosaphat.net or call the school at 773-549-0909 to reserve a space. Tours are given every third Wednesday of each month from October to March. These tours are for adults only.
Applications for new students enrolling in Pre-K3, Pre-K4 and
Kindergarten will be accepted beginning Nov. 1st.

• Acceptance letters will be mailed to families in the middle of February.
